Account Manager (Search/PPC)

We're looking for a PPC Account Manager to maximise the opportunities, revenue and exposure of Clients Search Campaigns to the benefit of both Client & Agency. The Manager will have the opportunity to work on big retail brands across global markets.

 

REPORTING TO: Search Account Director  

 

LOCATION: London 

 

The Role 

 

Core Responsibilities:

  • Keep Account Director & Senior Account Manager abreast of all activity, communication and developments.
  • Adhere to deadlines given by Client/Account Director/Senior Account Manager.
  • Effectively manage any external/internal queries/issues on Account.
  • Co-ordinate relationship and work load between team members.
  • Work hand in hand with the Account Director & Senior Account Manager and assume a principal role in the development of account/campaign strategies to enable future growth of accounts.
  • Assume responsibility for development of team Account Executives, Graduates and Interns
  • Regularly relay latest Search & Industry related data to the client and internally.
  • Maintain communication with Finance and Technical and Data Insight teams.
  • Assist in new business opportunities.

 

Client Communication:

  • Organise & attend client meetings, chair discussions and provide informative account insight to grow the account and gain competitive advantage.
  • Prepare, present and facilitate material for client meetings and conference calls.
  • Coordinate and send contact report to client after all conference calls and meetings, ensuring all actions are time-scaled and actioned.
  • Reply to all client correspondence as priority or delegating this to others in the team as necessary.

 

Campaign Management:

  • Implement appropriate strategies required to achieve client KPI targets.
  • Optimisation of all Campaigns including:
    • Management of ad copy strategy & optimisation.
    • Management of keyword selection and optimisation strategy.
    • Management of tracking, trafficking and bid management through appropriate tools (may be one of Atlas, DART, Mediaplex, Kenshoo, Marin, etc.).
    • Proactively innovate and drive new channels and initiatives to encourage profitable growth.

 

Finance:

  • Produce all required financial reports and reconciliations required by the finance team.
  • Ensure that all company financial processes and deadlines put in place are adhered to, and that all work is produced to a high degree of accuracy.
  • Monitor delivery of client campaigns to ensure accuracy of delivery.
  • Assume lead responsibility for future planning and forecasting at a campaign and account level.

 

Reporting:

  • Responsible for ensuring all weekly, monthly & ad hoc reports for the Client are produced in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Ensure all monthly finance reports for Finance Department in a timely and accurate manner.

 

The Person

  • University Degree (or international equivalent).
  • Two years' online experience minimum within a PPC role. ( Retail or Travel experience)
  • Fluent written and spoken English. Second Language Skill a plus
  • Maths Qualification (GCSE, A Level or international equivalent) desirable, along with evidence of mathematical competency.
  • Agency, Media Owner or Client Side experience essential.
  • Proficient in MS Office, including Excel, Word and Powerpoint.
  • GAP qualified.
  • Knowledge of Marin, Dart or Search-ignite would be a plus.
