Digital Planner
JOB TITLE: Digital Planner (Display and Mobile, with opportunity for Affiliate Exposure)
We're looking for a digital planner and buyer to maximise the opportunities, revenue and exposure of display and mobile channels within the agency, to ensure that we are delivering an effective planning and buying service to our current clients, upsell display & mobile opportunities to clients working with us in other digital channels (search, social, data), evangelise internally and educate the team about new developments and help grow and develop the offering ahead of the market.

The Role
Overall
- Oversee the planning, management and delivery of all display and mobile campaigns
- Proactively develop and grow the agency's display & mobile channel, trialling new opportunities and formats
- Develop revenue from display and mobile channel through upselling, cross-selling and team operational efficiencies
- Support new business team by providing collateral for new business pitches
- Educate wider unique team (sales, account management, data) about display and mobile media
- Have an interest and will to expand channel knowledge and experience across a 3rd discipline, possibly affiliates or social
Clients
- Build relationships with middle and senior client contacts and understand clients' business objectives
- Take overall responsibility for meeting clients' KPIs
- Produce high quality presentations and reports for client meetings
- Manage and support team members to effectively manage campaigns, troubleshoot problems and maximise performance
- Ensure unique's outstanding service levels are maintained through effective communication schedules (quarterly reviews, meetings, conference calls, etc.)
Suppliers
- Management of Adserver relationships, in-house trafficking requirements and creative optimisation through appropriate tools (may be one of Atlas, DART, Mediaplex)
- Develop existing and new media owner relationships testing new approaches, new channels and initiatives to encourage profitable growth
Internal
- Work closely with management team to help develop core offering
- Provide financial forecasting of client revenues to management team
- Monitor team's financial processes and reporting to Account/Finance Director
- Take part in agency knowledge share sessions
The Person
- University Degree (or international equivalent).
- 1 - 2 online experience minimum
- Excellent experience, knowledge and understanding of either display media market or mobile markets, including current developments
- Good knowledge of overall online marketing mix including search, display, affiliates, social, mobile
- Sound understanding of ad-server technologies (examples include Doubleclick & Mediaplex)
- Understanding of client side analytics packages highly desirable (Omniture, Coremetrics, GA)
- Ability to work independently and as part of team
- Fluent written and spoken English
- Maths Qualification (GCSE, A Level or international equivalent) desirable, along with evidence of mathematical competency
- Agency, Media Owner or Client Side experience essential
- Proficient in MS Office, including Excel, Word and Powerpoint. Access highly desirable
